FinCricket privacy policy.
How the FinCricket Android application handles information.
Privacy policy
Effective date: 31 July 2026
Jarnos Craftworks provides FinCricket, an offline Android darts-scoring application. Jarnos Craftworks is responsible for the processing described in this policy.
Information stored on your device
FinCricket stores information needed to run the game in the application's private storage. This includes player names and recent-player names, current and completed game state, game history, language preference, and related settings. This information is used only to provide the app's scoring, restoration, history, and preference features.
Information FinCricket does not collect
FinCricket does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, cloud synchronization, or developer-operated tracking. It does not request location, camera, contacts, microphone, or storage permissions. Jarnos Craftworks does not receive the player names or game information stored by the app.
Network access, Google Play, and external links
The app can use Google Play's in-app update service to check for and install available updates. Google may process device, account, and service information independently under its own privacy terms. FinCricket also offers an optional link to a WhatsApp community. Selecting it opens WhatsApp or a web browser; any information processed there is governed by WhatsApp's policies. The app's bundled scoring screens are blocked from loading network content.
Sharing and sale
Jarnos Craftworks does not sell personal information and does not share locally stored FinCricket gameplay information with third parties. Platform services and external links operate independently as described above.
Retention, deletion, and backups
Local information remains until it is replaced or removed through the app, you clear FinCricket's app data, or you uninstall the app. Android backup for FinCricket is disabled, so the app does not ask Android to place its private data in device or cloud backups.
Support communications
If you contact support by email, Jarnos Craftworks receives the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, app version, device model, Android version, and problem description. It is used to respond and troubleshoot, and retained only as long as reasonably needed for that purpose and applicable legal obligations. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information or full game histories.
Security
FinCricket uses Android's private application storage and disables Android backup for its data. No method of storage is completely secure, but the app is designed to limit gameplay information to your device.
Your choices and rights
You control the names entered into the app and can remove local information by clearing app data or uninstalling FinCricket. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding personal information included in support correspondence, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and the right to complain to a data-protection authority.
Children's privacy
FinCricket does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has provided personal information in a support message, contact Jarnos Craftworks so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
This page will be updated if FinCricket's information practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
